#SundayStills ~ Grey Skies #Landscape #Photography

Welcome to the Sunday Stills feature hosted by Terry Webster Shrandt. The theme this week is grey.

I haven’t taken many photos lately what with one thing and another, so these are from the archives. The header photo is from a visit to the Wolf Conservation Trust a few years ago.

A grey misty valley

Dark clouds over the estuary

A grey-ish sunset

The castle ruins look stark against the cloudy sky

A lowering sky meant storms ahead, we just made it home in time.

A mixture of grey and bright white clouds over Whitby, but sure enough it wasn’t long before the rain arrived.

  2. Lovely and what memories I have of refilling quite a few bird feeders during our housesitting days. Very popular around your neck of the woods. The rose is stunning and you will be enjoying more in the coming months, Cathy.

  3. Lovely stuff, Cathy – I adore numbers 3 and 6, and I suspect 1 and 6 might have been taken when sitting in a cable car???? Might be wrong. 3 is my favourite – just my type of picture!

    1. Number 1 was from the cable car 😅 I won’t forget that in a hurry! If you’re counting the wolf pic as no 1, the sixth was taken as we were driving along with Mt Snowdon in the far distance, but if you mean the very last one, we were in the Abbey ruins.
